The Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County is a unique organization consisting of four Club facilities, six additional 21st Century Community Learning Centers at area Elementary and Middle Schools, and an administrative office.
Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work. The Foundation's mission reflects the life-changing impact that a Make-A-Wish experience has on children, families, referral sources, donors, sponsors and entire communities.
The All-Star Children's Foundation (formerly Sarasota Sports Foundation) is determined to break the cycle of child abuse, neglect and abandonment in our community. Thanks to the generosity of many corporate sponsors, donors and volunteers, we have raised over $2,500,000 in the past four years.
United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) is the leading source of information on cerebral palsy and is a pivotal advocate for the rights of persons with any disability. As one of the largest health charities in America, the UCP mission is to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people with disabilities through an affiliate network.
The Humane Society of Sarasota County relies on community funding to pursue its mission of promoting responsible pet ownership and securing permanent homes for all adoptable animals. HSSC provides abandoned pets with compassionate care and shelter, offers pet adoptions, humane education, affordable spay/neuter services, and programs for children, seniors and those with special needs.
